Sleeping pod

fizzyhead
Several years ago I remember watching a video of a man suffering from ES who used a sleeping pod on a night. It looked hi-tech, a bit like a mini- submarine with a hatch. Have tried trawling the internet including military sites but I cannot find where such a pod can be located. If anyone has come across something like, can you please let me know. Thanks.

I haven't seen anything quite like a sleeping pod with a hatch. That sounds pretty cool.

I've seen a number of emf tents for sale. They don't seem to be as popular as the canopies that drape down around the sides of a bed but I still see them from time to time. Here is one of the tents if this is of any interest: https://products.mercolamarket.com/emf-shielding-tent/

Thanks emf sensitive. I have seen the sleeping tents and they do look good especially for making sure you are sealed in a safe area - only thing is the db attenuation isn't quite high enough for what I need it for. But thanks again :)

I saw an iron lung at a surplus atore once and wish I'd bought it. A thick steel pod like thay would help with low frequency magnetic fields ("ELF" fields), which an EMF tent doesn't block at all.

The cheapest option might be to convert an old fuel tank like this:

But there are potential problems, for example some 55 gallon drums have caulk in the end-seams instead of metal-to-metal contact (which limits their RF blocking performance). And you'd definitely need to clean it up and make a door with continuous contact along the edges, and add mesh vents for fresh air.
