Shielded phone cable

Catherine
Hi

Does anyone know where I can get a shielded phone cable?

I recently changed to full fibre broadband and have noticed that the low frequency emissions from the phone cable are very high.  My system is on ethernet,  but this doesn't seem to reduce these emissions.

I've been told that I need a cable with RJ10/11 connections.  I live in the UK, so I need equipment that's compatible with UK phone systems.

Thanks very much

Cath

Possibly some phone cable meant to be used with DSL modems?

The phone cabling I use on all my phones here actually comes from the UK (!), brand name is Kenable.  I imagine that all of their ADSL2+ cabling is shielded, or at least twisted-pair.

Doing a search, I see that those Kenable cables are only twisted-pair, which is better than regular phone cable in terms of emissions, but are not shielded. Although there are a few brands which are shielded. For example:

Also I suspect the shielding is useless unless you find a way to ground it.  Otherwise all that extra metal is probably acting as an antenna for ambient RF.

But these are sold in the UK.  Although I'd personally just stick to twisted-pair.

Shielded RJ11 phone cable on Amazon UK:
