Self driving cars, whenever they start proliferating, will most probably come equipped with v2v alert systems. I'm not sure if their main system of function, which is LIDAR, is unsafe or not. Is anyone familiar how constant radar transmissions affect the human body? Coupled with v2v, it doesn't sound good.

I think Lidar is harmless, it's just laser. But they may also use millimeter wave, which they are already using in many new cars, like most Toyota 2017+.. It's standard equipment, can't even be refused.
