Scams (was : Quantum Byte)

helensan
Speaking of scams, I am completely overwhelmed by the number of products out
there (and how expensive they are). Is there a website that lists all
credible EMF related products out there that has been screened by someone
not connected with any of the products? It seems to me such a website
would be extremely valuable.

For me, the mechanism of operation may sound like a scam, but if it works
and one gets the results one expected, then there is no scam. If I buy
magic pixie dust and it stops my gallbladder attacks such that I no longer
have to have surgery, I got my money's worth. By the same token, if the
mechanism makes complete sense, but doesn't work and there is no refund, I
got scammed. I know a good number of conventional medical treatments that
fall into this category. So in my view, scam is as scam does.

The trick is evaluating the gamble of time and money spent on products that
are not likely to yield results based on the mechanisms offered. That is
where past experience of other users become very important.

It's kind of hard to evaluate the products, because someone may have a good
reaction to a product that someone else may have no reaction to (or even a bad
reaction).

Generally, it seems that people try one or two things and they don't work
and then they give up. I was a bit more stubborn, and kept trying things
until I found something that helped, then kept on trying, searching for
something that would help more.

If you want to try something cheap and portable, I'd recommend trying the
"pocket polarizer" ($20):

http://cutcat.com/item.php?item_id=827&page=4&category_id=44

A non-portable but inexpensive option is the Quantum power conditioner
(3-outlet = $29):

http://quantumproducts.com/catalog/quantum_power.html

Another inexpensive portable item is the RADAR card ($29):

http://radar3.com/products.html

Going up in price, there's Springlife stainless steel pendant ($70):

http://www.choosecra.com/store/tech/splf-silver-pendants.html

I've tried all of the above and found them all "helpful" -- none of
these are a perfect 100% solution, but I have yet to find any device
that is. And there is no guarantee that any of these will work for
you.

And of course, there are more expensive options too...I've had luck
with the Quantum Companion, Mega-Chi pendant, Springlife OM
pendant, Quantum Pro, etc.

I can't claim to have tried everything out there, but I've certainly
tried more than most!

Hi Marc

I have just looked at some of these devices (and your posting on this) again, and I note that you have tried a lot of these things. You may not be able to answer this (perhaps idiot type) question, but I wondering can you only use, for example, one of these products at a time, or can you use them in combination with each other, without cancelling our their effects or impacts, or worse, creating an actively harmful effects fpr yourself? Have you tried any of them in combination and if so, what was your experience of that?

As with all things, "it depends"... :-)

Certainly you can combine some items and get a better result. In other
cases, combining items can produce a worse effect than simply using
one of the items. For the most part, I use more than one item at a
time, and often the items are made by different manufacturers.

Some combinations that I do well with:

Quantum Products + Springlife Polarizers
Quantum Products + Tachyon Products
Tachyon Products + MegaChi pendant

Now, in the list above, I consider Quantum Products and the MegaChi
pendant to be good all by themselves when exposed to EMF. The
Tachyon Products and Springlife Polarizers are good when I'm away
from EMF (that is, they seem to help with digestion, energy levels,
allergies), but are not so good by themselves when sitting in front
of a computer all day. But if I take one of these and add them to
Quantum Products, the results are better than just using Quantum
Products alone. But this is the sort of thing you figure out
after years of trial and error with various items (and the results
changed after I switched from CRT monitors to LCD monitors).

As for your other question about the BioProtect card, when I tried
it, I didn't notice it helping me much for my computer tolerance.
I assumed it wasn't strong enough or I was too sensitive.

Hello,

it is nonsense to think that a few *things* can protect you enough from the
elektrosmog.

Well, there are some devices which *claim* to provide complete protection,
although I've never found one that did. Rather, I use devices as simply
one of multiple ways to feel better around EMF. These ways include
avoidance of EMF (to a limited degree), food choices, dietary supplements,
avoidance of harmful chemicals, detoxification, etc.

I'm sure that I'd feel even better if I lived on a des.erted island with
no electricity, but that's not really what I want to do.. :-)

I entirely agree with you Marc that it about finding whatever ways we can of trying to live with this pollutant - I just want ot make my life more bearable for now - but on my worst days though I dream of the desert island and worry that I might have to resort to it if nothing works!!
