Satellite TV

Christine D.
About to try satellite TV at my house in the country. (Tried to talk my husband into just putting up an antenna to see what we could pull in for free, but he wouldn't go for it.) I'd like to hear from someone with experience with Dish and DirecTV -- which was better for you?

Satellite dish is really bad for me, even when not hooked up to the box. Doesn't matter what kind.  Had to come down for me to not feel sick when I was on that side of the house.

What do you think was the main source of the problem?  Just having the dish pointed
at the satellites?  Having the dish plugged-into a power source?  The converter box
plugged in?  Something else?
