Rowan,
It will help to switch to a laptop, and only use it on the battery, not
plugged in. Plug it in and charge it someplace away from you. This way
you avoid the nasty high frequency electrical pollution that comes from the
wiring through the cord/computer into you.
Plugging in the phone line to go on the Web will also introduce
electrical pollution, though less. Also, you can get a ferrite bead to clamp
(snugly!) onto the phone line. It won't work if it's loose in the least.
I compose most of my e-mail offline, go on to send it, visit web sites,
read mail. Keep my hands off the keyboard and mouse except when needed.
Use a mouse.
Doing this has made a tremendous difference for both me and my husband.
Regards,
Shivani
