Regular "fridge" magnets and ES?

es360
Thankfully I don’t suffer from ES.

But, I do read posts on various ES forums because I have an interest in shielding my electronics against an EMP (electromagnetic pulse).

Do most people with ES do ok around ordinarily magnets (like the ones on a refrigerator)?

If so using magnetic reed switches*, would be a good choice for making shielded electronics, because they can be completely surrounded by shielding material and still be activated.  (I use them in my shielded electronics and they work great)

I thought I should put this out there incase it can help anyone.

I don't know about most people, but I did have a nasty reaction to neodymium magnet, but that's stronger than a fridge magnet.  And I can't recall reacting badly to any other magnet.

Some folks have even reported improvements with magnetic therapy.
