Rear projection tv

CHELSEAPAUL
Hi all,

Someone has suggested to me that a solution to my tv viewing problem might be to get a rear projection tv from somewhere like Ebay.  Completely different technology to that used in LED or LCD modern televisions, and pretty much obsolete nowadays as things have developed a lot...but could be perfect for someone with EHS.  Does anyone have any experience of using rear projection screens and are they more tolerable than other more modern tvs on the market?

To be honest you can pick one up on Ebay so cheap it's probably worth taking a shot anyway, but just wondered if anyone else on here had any experience on the subject.

Thanks

Paul

Well, it *is* completely different technology, so it might work out, although those projector
lights usually consume a lot of wattage and presumably have a large magnetic field.  So you
may be trading in one issue for another.
