Re: remote controls

Some remote controls involve continual radio frequency contact with the
TV. You can experiment with walking around the remote with a portable radio
set between am stations and just getting background noise. It should pick
up a broadcast signal between the tv and the remote.
If you have a meter that reads radio frequencies, check the remote with
it.
Hey, back in the "old days" we got up out of the chair and changed the
station. It can still be done.

I'll try the radio thing, but it will mean what, and then what?

(No measuring devices)
