I would also be interested to know what a polariser actually is and how
it works.

If you are only trying to protect *yourself*, then you'd just make sure
that you have a polarizer on yourself, or within a few feet of you.

If you are trying to protect others too, then I would think that you
could place polarizers on the electric fuse box, as this would polarize
all the electrical lines throughout the property. Also, if you have
metal water pipes, you could place a polarizer on the pipe where the
water comes in. Same thing for the gas lines if you have natural gas
heating.

For me, I simply keep one in my pants pocket wherever I go.

I own most of the models available, and have experimented with
them for the past year and a half, so I could attempt to answer
anything which may not be addressed above.

They are not a complete solution for ES symptoms, but can certainly
be part of an overall solution.
