I have to say that after trying to put the brightness to
minimum, it seems to have better feeling, although the buzzing on the
meter speaker doesn't diminish... It matches the theory the backlights
are the issue at the notebooks..

Drasko, did you have the computer plugged in to utility-provided power
at the time you are describing, or was it operating solely on battery power?
I'd me very interested in knowing what kind of readings you get
plugged-in vs. on battery alone. When you are plugged in, the frequencies
present in the electricity being provided will be broadcast from the computer.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1300, I still have a problem wether on battery or not.

readings with power on at front of screen
15-20mg
250v/m

Power off
20-25mg
500v/m

Testing with a AM radio shows a phenomenal cachophony os sounds at one point
as you swipe the radio around the laptop it settles to one continuous sound
high frequency buzz. The sound tails of all round at about 1.8m, it is
especsially loud below under the table. How can we separate out and analyse the
frequensies we are being exposed to here picked up by the AM radio ? I am
convinced the answer lies here if we can stop these emissions ie if my am radio
goes quiet with some sort of sheilding then I would no the answer for me, but
I guess you would need materials that are not translucent so you could not
see the screen. What about lead glass ANY IDEAS PLease.
