Tanya wrote that she is considering redesigning CFL bulbs. I suggest
you contact Dave Stetzxer about this, to discuss how to deal with the 2
factors. One is the frequencies the CFL puts on the circuit. The other is the
frequencies being broadcast directly from the bulb.

If someone manufactures a CFL bulb that deals with both these problems,
they will be the first and ES people will surely purchase it.

Meanwhile, Dr. Havas has completed her study of the frequencies cresated
by various brands, and that should be available soon. Some are much worse
than others. There are a couple that are OK if you filter the circuit and
do not spend time near the bulb itself.

I have said this before with little response - I purchased a Digital
freeview set-top box which made me react so badly I was tempted to stamp on it !
using my AM radio revealed a low pitch constant tone being emitted from the box,
this broadcast the same sound throughout the wiring circuit it was plugged
into and anything that the ariel cable was in continuity with. This high
lights very effectively the phenomenon of dirty electricity, if only I could
discover what band of frequencis this bow was emitting, it gives off a similar
sound to the inverter circuit on my laptop, which also effects me badly ??

Hello Paul,

that is not new.

Those are the feared VLF signals, from 5 kHz -150 kHz, emitted from such
boxes.
I found them also on satellite receivers and som plasma and LCD TV's.

Especially the Philips 32PFL5522 is awfull.
