I recall that there was a group called "emfrefugee" on YahooGroups, but I haven't been on that for years.  I recall someone here commenting that most of these web forums were pretty dead, and that this one was relatively active.

But the Facebook ones are the ones that are full of activity.

facebook ? i thought it was called fakebook.
whatever, let's make fakefacebook so that everyone is happy.

anyway, thanks for the response.
just checked, emfrefugee still does exist.

probably charles knows a bunch of other ones, in a couple of languages.
any information on similar groups will be appreciated !
a bit of sharing of ideas among diverse forums could be interesting also.

I do not do FB or yahoo: I can not stand their policies. Yahoo censors comments stating the so called safe things are dangerous. So you can not believe anything there-they filter out anything against the establishment. Found that out when I was on FB and the entire scanners groups responded to the question that those were not safe [ionizing radiation and all]. Every single person that posted a real answer including myself had it removed. I complained to yahoo and closed my account.  FB has gone too far with their spybook set up and more than a year of being gone, have come to realize it's bad for the mind.

The only other group I know is the healing earth refuge, but nothing happen there, but sometimes they have good phone get together s.  http://www.meetup.com/HEALove/

all the rest I have found are useless as they are so small and slow.

Would like to see this one build up more, as it has potential.

Agree,  People post critical info on facebook and it is inaccessible within a few days!  I am asking people to post stuff here!

well, but the good thing is that one can get a great number of ( fake ) friends without much danger of ever running into them.
also, one can create a ( fake ) identity that makes one proud and happy.
so there are positive sides to fakebook too.

anyway, there are millions of es-folks, so why the heck is this group so small ?
probably few people know about it.
through directing search-results and placing links to the es-forum this could possibly be improved upon.
not to say that i'm really concerned, however the whole thing appears to be rather absurd and out of whack.

Heh, well for some people, using a computer causes too many symptoms, so they're not going to participate in an online discussion group.

Then, I think "normal" people don't really participate in web forums... again, Facebook is the most popular site for discussion groups these days (like it or not).

Searching for things on Google should bring you to this group, and I imagine that's how many people find it in the first place.  Certainly this group is not being "advertised" anywhere.

We used to be on YahooGroups, and I'm sure we lost many people due to that move.  Although I don't think YahooGroups is that popular anymore (in general), and I really didn't like that they were requiring people to supply a cellphone number to join Yahoo.
