i was there in eugene at EWEB when dr.dart presented to the board.
i am happy to hear the outcome, as i left eugene shortly after the board
voted to approve ‘smart meters’.
dr.dart is a lovely, rational man… as were the other members of his
MD team. i do believe they were also electromagnetically sensitive and
that drove their interest in the subject.
it’s good to have a more recent statement from him.
and, friends in the columbia, MO area -
we have AMI meters here too.
it appears we might have a once-a-month schedule as well.
i woke up this month on the 19th at 5am with excruciating
cramps in my ankles… the 19th is when they broadcast from
this part of the county. still need to call them.
i think the website said you could opt out.
but their website also states that there are no ‘smart meters’ here….
just AMI - which are smart meters. haha…
now i can’t find any reference to either on their site. tricky, tricky.
i understand that utilities get huge grants from the US govt for
installing smart meters.
