It seems that everyone responds to EMF protection devices differently,
so it's impossible to recommend something that will definitely work. Although,
having tried dozens of them, I can make some statements about the ones
which helped me out the most. You say that you want to sleep better
at night... do you have any ideas on what your main EMF exposure is
when sleeping at night? Is it the power lines in the wall? A nearby
cellphone tower / TV transmitter? Clock radio? Something else?

I do believe the items from Quantum Products are helpful, but I
wouldn't recommend starting with a very expensive item. Something
like a Quantum power conditioner is a good place to start ($59), or
even a smaller Mini-Max ($20):

Just plug in a nearby clock radio or TV to it.

Also, Springlife polarizers can be helpful... you can just set one
on the nightstand. I'd recommend starting with the smallest model,
the "Lifeforce" pendant. As to where to buy these, you can order
them from the manufacturer by phone (I'd have to look the number
up if you need it), or by one of the few people who advertise
them on the internet (e.g, http://www.choosecra.com/). The place
that I used to buy mine from is no longer in business.

Other notable devices include the Electromagnetic Pollution
Rectifier:

Or perhaps something from Earthcalm:

And who knows, perhaps putting a D-battery on your clock radio
might be helpful? :-)

I have heard that Quantum makes some good products, if any of you have heard of them they make a
couple devices which plug in the wall and are supposed to "balance" out the magnetic field in the
room. In addition there is a kind of net that you place over your bed that is supposed to block all
EMF and 85% of RF--at the price its going for it better do some magic--$500.00 . I am considering
buying one of these. I have also heard of the Springlife Polarizer, which I hear is also a good buy.
I need to find something that will help me sleep at night. This has been the one main symptom I have
had for quite some time--Insomnia. I need relief. Anyway if anyone has some past experiences with an
effective EMF protection device that works, or has some useful info for me, it would be much much
appreciated. Thanks.

In a follow-up to Seper's request for advice for
EMF protection devices, I should note the following:

* The Quantum Products seem to work by altering
the electricity. They have done studies showing
increased signal-to-noise ratio when using their
products. So if you think that the problems
you are having are "noise" related, these are
worth looking into.

* The Springlife Polarizers seem to work by boosting
your immune system. I say this because they also
helped minimize my reaction to smog and allergens.
Also, I find that they tend to give me "mercury
detox" symptoms, so if you are already taking
something to chelate mercury, then you probably
don't want to add this to it as well, as this
will probably make your mercury detox symptoms
worse.

As for why I did not recommend Vinny's prototype
device, I have found it to be agitating when I
tried sleeping with it in the same room. I have
found that it is helpful in harsh EMF environments
(surrounded by computers and flourescent lighting),
but not in the low-EMF environment of my bedroom.
