Celiac disease is genetic, Stephen, but nobody in my family has been dxed but me. I have heard cd has roughly a ratio of affecting 1 in 10 in a family (generally speaking--certainly there are families with less andmore incidence).
It is somewhat interesting that I have 2 cousins who exhibit all the symptoms/signs of ES and refuse to believe they have ES. Theone refuses to believe due to the fact that she works for a major communications provider (in her words, "not going there"). They both have autonomic nervous system disorder, just like me, but are not as well controlled, even tho they are on powerful meds for it. (Since I was dxed prior to the use of meds for this condition, I was forced to find other remediations for it on my own--adrenal support supplements and avoidance of various high magnetic environments which bring on the condition....) Celiac d. is also known to have genetically related bbb/tj damage connectedwith it, but of many people with cd (well over 200 with whom I am aquainted from support groups/forums), I know only of several dozen with the bbb problem. So I think it is possible there is a genetic link to ES and itseems some doctors/researchers do also think this (Klinghardt, George Carlo.... ) or at least their wording of things suggest such a connection. Nowunderstand, I am not talking about a gene specifically "for" ES, but one which influences the body in such a way as to cause precipitating factors. Puk replies. I am sure I heard of a thing called mitochondrial dna, which
contains data from eons ago, Imagine if there was a specific sequence for electrical sensing, maybe it got mixed in somehow from animal dna ? Imagine if we have this sense and once it was purposeful how cool would that be in an academic way In a message dated 09/04/2010 23:19:47 GMT Daylight Time, [hidden email] writes: Now understand, I am not talking about a gene specifically "for" ES, but one which influences the body in such a way as to cause precipitating factors.
