Re: I read something in the Links area

Hi, Amy,

Sorry this is such an old subject. I am way behind in my mail lately. Youasked about the beach and whether it was a good atmosphere for people withEMS. Lucky you!!  I would love to go weekly to the beach!  ;)  Yes, the beach is a wonderful place to go--as Marc said, for high negative ions, and as Emil mentioned, it is a great place to "ground" yourself--walk on the beach or wade barefoot so you can discharge emfs your body has been storing up.  What I said earlier about places with high water count absorbing emfs is also true for the beach.  The wave action at the beach and the salt content of the water are also very cleansing and detoxing.  So you have the best of all worlds, pretty much, Amy!

If you can feel emfs while walking or sitting on the beach, try actually sitting or wading in shallow waves.  I find that if I get into the waterit helps even more.  I bring this up because there are people on the beach working on wifi laptops and making cell phone calls.  If those bother you, try sitting or wading in the ocean and see if that helps or takes care of the problem.  I do not get to go to the ocean often, but all of this is true for the river/waterfall where I detox and ground myself regularly, as well.  There is a visable cell tower where I go sometimes--across the river.  If I *can* feel that tower (most often Ican't feel it at all but that has to do with several variables--how high the water table is, how fast the river is moving, how well I am feeling physically....), even as little as dangling a foot in the water can often remove that feeling.

My best to you,
Diane

This thread is really fascinating and it made me wonder about the beach. You said that emfs are drawn to high water concentrations and that the water would absorb emfs in the atmosphere. Could that be why a lot of us are morecomfortable at the beach than any other place?? I go every weekend and if I could live there, I would. I feel SO much better there than other places. What do you think???

Hi, Barb,

Aloe is one
of the plants referred to in the book I recommended for reading yesterday. The book includes NASA research on which plants clear which chemicals fromthe atmosphere. I don't remember whether emfs were addressed in the book, but we know generally speaking that emfs are drawn to high water concentrations. So, yes, aloe vera plants are high in water content and therefore would likely absorb emfs in your atmosphere.

I use plants near my windows to block emfs when necessary/possible. Plants and trees are especially helpful for blocking out emfs from outside around your house, but plants help me inside, too. It is possible (tho it would need research to prove) that emf "dirty air", as Charles here has pointed outexists in some circumstances, might be removed by using plants, as well.

Best wishes,
Diane

with sudsy dish soapy water and then spray them clean. The soap kills almost any bugs which can thrive on plants. There is a great book on detoxifying your home with plants: “How to Grow Fresh Air: 50 Houseplants that Purify Your Home and Office” by Dr. BC Wolverton

It showed how many products just do not work in EMF reduction. After reading here, the importance of cell phone usage, turning off electrical appliances, etc. is reallly the only way to reduce EMF's.

patches. After reading the article I am not sure if they really work, I guess my next purchase will have to be a meter.

That really got me thinking how many products could be and are a total waste of money. There is no easy fix or protection is there?

the BEST EMF protection money can buy? Well, if they really don't work. why buy it.
