The regular Trifield meter is not very sensitive at all to electric fields, I
am sorry to say.
In addition, it is not 60 Hz that causes ES symptoms, but the higher
frequencies.
Culverpratt also mentioned that the phone lines at his sister's register high
even with no phone attached. If this is on a regular Trifield, then there
must be a terrific field involved!
Electricity from nearby wiring can easily induce current on phone lines,
water pipes, duct work, etc. without actually touching these conductors.
Telecommunications frequencies can also be picked up by these and then
retransmitted within your building.
When I was checking a condo for someone I picked up a radio station from her
telephone, on the 'Inner Voice" meter that Dave Stetzer made for me.
