A refrigerator per se does not create the high frequencies that cause ES
symptoms. Perhaps there is something added to a basic refrigerator in your
new one, that creates high frequencies.
I wonder if ice makers do? Anyone know?
What a refrigerator does do is use a lot of electricity when it is
running, which will raise the magnetic field on the entire circuit. If the
circuit happens to be home to high frequencies, then you may well have more
broadcast of these when the frig is on.
What is needed is an electric field meter that distinguishes the
high-frequency fields from 60 Hz. The Aaronia Profi II (though not real accurate
re. precise field strength) did this at a reasonable price, but it is no longer
made. So far, I only know of rather pricey meters that do this job,
unfortunately. We have tried to interest another manufacturer in making such a
meter, without which ES people cannot fully know what's going on in their
environment, but they want a preorder for at least a thousand.
