The human body only needs 8-12 percent protein each day!! Animal protein is NOT good for the human body. We're made to digest vegetable protein... spinach and other dark leafy greens. They have MORE protein than meat and it's highly digestible! Most people overdo the protein which puts a terrible burden on the liver and kidneys and leads to all sorts of health challenges! Jan |

Yes, I've read this before, but I've also read that a person who is attempting to recover from an illness requires far more nutrition than a person who is merely trying to maintain their health. So does that number apply to someone maintaining their health, or someone improving their health? My own personal experience shows that increasing protein increases my EMF tolerance. I also think that increasing protein helps your body get toxins out of the body, as the amino acids in the protein act as a carrier which binds to the toxins and allows them to leave the body safely. As for the questions of animal vs. vegetable, I'd say that people should do whatever works for them. I've seen from my own experiences that there is at least some truth to the blood type diet, which says that some people do better with animal sources, and some people do better with vegetable sources. I agree about the load to liver and kidneys - I always make sure I drink
more peppermein or kidney tea after taking extra protein. However, most people probably don't need it as they drive everywhere. I don't have a car currently and walk everywhere, which is a lot of exercise somewtimes. I just find I feel a lot better with a protein top-up. The problem is quite a few ES' and other health troubled individuals have problems digesting vegetable proteins and fats and need animal proteins.
