Re: Crown & post and vapor test

calmriver1@juno.com
Hi,

I am going to the doctor and they are going to do a vapor test to see if myteeth are emitting things, I figured it would be better to know what is actually emitting things and fix that. I have a lot of crowns, one bridge and a bunch of amalgam fillings. I am scared at the thought of my crowns not being good. Also, I have heard that the posts are metal, so most likely they would have to take them out. What kind of posts do they use if they don't use metal?

Thanks for your replys,

Maureen

Do you have "posts"? You said you have crowns, a bridge, and amalgam
fillings, but you didn't say anything about posts... as far as I know,
my crowns and bridge are simply attached to what's left of the existing
teeth. No posts involved at all...
