I have had success using fabric to block some RF frequencies.
Veilshield is good for a monitor, but very thin, almost delicate. But I've stopped using it (my 15" LCD is TCO certified (which unfortunately isn't too strict regarding RF), and I keep it over 2 feet away--but maybe I should shield it). I've also used "high performance silver mesh" <http://lessemf.com/fabric.html#1222> on an LCD TV, and it made a measurable difference. However, the trick was to keep at least 1 cm between the shield and the surface of the screen. Unfortunately after a while these get annoying to look through. Clear shield is nice to look through (if you're always careful not to scratch it) but I don't think it is very effective... although maybe if you attached it to glass and put that an inch in front. Scotch tint might be better if you can get 50% amber. Bruce says UV window film works, but I don't have specifics. Any low-E film should be good, or low-E glass. With the keyboard, it's tough, unless you're affected by the ELF electric field (which some keyboards have, but quality ones mostly don't). Don't use a laptop keyboard or touchpad obviously. With RF, you need some separation on both sides of the shields for it to work, and with your fingers right there... lessEMF sells gloves which I did like for a while. If you can find a keyboard with tall keys, that's a plus. I think the kensington "keyboard for life" is better than most RF wise, but I prefer this old IBM "model M" (71G4644). Mice are hard too. If you do try shielding you'll need to ground it (unless you're just blocking bluetooth or wifi microwaves), and you'll want a dedicated ground rod connected to a short RF grounding strap. And note that with a single ground rod you can probably still get electrocuted if your shield touches a hot power cord. With multiple ground rods the resistance can be low enough to trip the breaker. If you are running on battery then a shield that contains something and is grounded to the cable shielding connecting to the computer might work.
