Hi R,
Yes, it's hard at first to figure out what effects you. However, I found
out by making careful observations in different environments and how I felt.
For example, I went to a garden center a few miles from here last summer.
As soon as I got out of the car I was "totally unbalanced" and unable to
tolerate that area. Instead of leaving I had my husband hold onto my arm
and I walked around looking for what might causing me to have such a strong
reaction. This place is off a country road so it should have been "safe".
Anyway I walk to the back of the garden center turned a corner and saw that
the neighbour next door to the garden center had some type of hookup on top
of a old tv tower that looked like a cell tower. It was smaller than most
but it definitely was a tower. I was standing within 10 yards of this thing
when I turned the corner. I absolutely knew that this was the cause of my
distress so I called the garden center the next day and asked them what that
tower was. They said it was for cell reception but that's all they knew as
it was on private property.
So...my reaction to some towers - as I've been on any road trips and the
garden center is dramatic - my reaction to wires on the road is far less.
I'm still effected by them with the occasional lightheadness type of feeling
but nothing like the effect of the towers. I am now trying to figure out if
I can begin to identify which towers are the worst so when I see them I will
recognize them.
Meters are helpful - and I have a great meter. But only to a point - I
believe your body is the best guide.
Hope this helps.
