I have been struggling with this one for months the RFI that is emitted from
this device is so excessive that it defies logic leaving aside the airborne
stuff the fact that it pushes most of its radiation through the mains cable
and then on into the very centre of our dwellings I. E. through our mains
cables and phone cables despite being some 50m away on there other side of the
road is the ultimate infringement. So to cut a long story short I made a
complaint to the UK office of communications offer a couple of months a man came
to investigate my complaint. he located the source fairly quickly and from
their he engaged a more detailed analysis of the emissions from the TV. I
received a letter yesterday informing me that limits between 150 kHz and 30 MHz
were measured. the measure levels apparently showing plasma television to be
well below the disturbance limits as quoted in British standards EN55013. So
that would appear to be the end of the story. NOT ! I have asked to see the
report and hope somehow to get the results interpreted by somebody I trust.
Sadly the British standards are very relaxed, they must be, to allow such
emissions from a device that is not technically designed to pump out RF in this
manner.
from this day forth I refer to my mains electricity as the carciogenic
sewer, now that's dirty power !

PS for those who have faith in a higher power, I said one of many prayers
the other day for a miracle to stop the above, 1/2hour later a bolt of
lightening came out of the semi blue sky, hit the chimney on the house opposite the
Plasma destroyed the chimney and took out most of the electrnics in the road !
Alas the Plasma goes on, and so my daily torment !
