Hi Ann
I have copied this request to the Electrical Sensitivity email list. Hopefully someone will be able to respond to your query better than I! Cheers Sarah -----Original Message----- From: Ann Robinson [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Wednesday, 24 November 2004 11:11 AM To: Benson, Sarah (Sen L. I've suffered for ages with getting anti-static shocks from entering and leaving my car. Some time ago I came across a crystal formulation I put inside my car in a self-contained porous bag and I replaced my car seats with pure lambswool. I've not had any shocks since. My question is: 1. How can my crystal (or anything else for that matter) that's on the inside of the vehicle protect me who is on the outside, getting in, and 2. It seems to me that there could be a measurable emf radiation distance that emits or disrupts the negative ions that stop me from getting a shock. Would this be correct and what would/could the distance possibly be ie: 2-3 feet or perhaps a bit wider? I'd really appreciate your response on this in a scientific way, as I am trying to investigate my situation further. Warmest regards Ann [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
My understanding from my own experience is that static charge is built
up from the car moving around on a surface as well as from the electrical system in the car. I have 2 items in my car, one is a pad (Bio-Grounder) that I sit on that is grounded to the seat frame and also I have a Vehicle grounding Cord connected to my axle frame that drops to the asphalt or road to ground the static from the car. I do not get static discharge (shocks) any more and I don't feel the static build up on my face as I drive either. These products can be found at: http://www.lessemf.com/personal.html Hope this is what you were looking for. Andrew On Nov 24, 2004, at 12:44 AM, Benson, Sarah (Sen L.
