Question

Tryingtoheal

I have a question.   Are there still 3G cell phones that omit  less? We are thinking about buying one just to use if our car breaks down. I sure don't want a wifi capable phone.

Do simple phones still exist?    I don't mean to offend anyone. I would not have it turned on at all. Just charge & carry in the car turned off. Turn on for Emergency only.

I was riding in the car w someone who had a cell phone turned in the on position & I started physically shaking & felt upset inside after 10 mins.

I would rather not have any, but think we need something if we had an emergency.

Thanks, Kathy

I use a LG100C from TracFone for emergencies... it's only a 2G phone, but definitely NOT a current model.
Still works though, and I only need to charge it about once every 6 months (that shows you how little I use it).
You can find these on eBay... for example:

Another phone I've seen recommended by a sensitive person is the Samsung M575:

And for those who need some sort of smart phone capability, the Samsung Galaxy SII might be as good as you can get (at least in terms of anecdotal reports from people with ES).  I got one of these for my wife:

This is my phone so, yes, simple old-school boring phones still exist.
