I have some questions (maybe specially for Charles) regarding the Spectran NF-5030 meter that I would like to purchase. Please, could you help me? Can you use the Profi Spion probes (Isotropic Field probe /lightsmog probe) with the NF-5030 spectran and other HF spectrans? Do you know if the NF-5030 performs earth magnetic field measurings according with the SBM-2003/SBM-2008 standard? Thanks and best regards, Daniel |
Hello Daniel,
on the entry SMA bus, a BNC connector can be mounted, and so other probes, antennas can be connected and used. Also the light probe from the Profi Spion, althouigh the sound of the profi Spion is surpassing everything else. With the extra option, the Spectran NF 5030 can measure static magnetic fields with its 3D measuring head. So it can measure earth magnetic fields. Only mine has some fault in the (prototype) meter, because it shows 10 uT too little, but they are looking into that. If you are going to order one, I would recommend that you order the bigger accu than the standard one. Thanks Charles, > If you are going to order one, I would recommend that you order the > bigger accu than the standard one. Sorry, I don't understand which accuracy you mean. You mean more accuracy for the static magnetic sensor or for the AC magnetic sensor? Could you help me with another question? It means that this meter can be used to measure both SBM-2003 parameters A5) Static Magnetic Fields (DC) static magnetic flux density (uT) and A7) Terrestrial Radiation - magnetic field (nT) ? With accu I mean the battery.
You need to order the bigger battery. Look at their price list. See option 6 and eventually option 8 or 10 Greetings, Charles Claessens member Verband Baubiologie www.milieuziektes.nl www.milieuziektes.be www.hetbitje.nl checked by Bitdefender ----- Original Message ----- From: "danielferres" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2008 3:05 PM Subject: [eSens] Re: Question for Charles - about Spectran NF-5030 meter > > Thanks Charles, > >> If you are going to order one, I would recommend that you order the >> bigger accu than the standard one. > > Sorry, I don't understand which accuracy you mean. > > You mean more accuracy for the static magnetic sensor or for > the AC magnetic sensor? > > Could you help me with another question? > It means that this meter can be used to measure both SBM-2003 parameters > A5) Static Magnetic Fields (DC) static magnetic flux density (uT) > and A7) Terrestrial Radiation - magnetic field (nT) ? > > Thanks and best regards, > Daniel > www.danielferres.es > > --- In [hidden email], "charles" <charles@...> wrote: >> >> Hello Daniel, >> >> on the entry SMA bus, a BNC connector can be mounted, and so other > probes, >> antennas can be connected and used. >> >> Also the light probe from the Profi Spion, althouigh the sound of > the profi >> Spion is surpassing everything else. >> >> With the extra option, the Spectran NF 5030 can measure static magnetic >> fields with its 3D measuring head. >> So it can measure earth magnetic fields. >> >> Only mine has some fault in the (prototype) meter, because it shows > 10 uT >> too little, but they are looking into that. >> >> If you are going to order one, I would recommend that you order the > bigger >> accu than the standard one. >> >> Greetings, >> Charles Claessens >> member Verband Baubiologie >> www.milieuziektes.nl >> www.milieuziektes.be >> www.hetbitje.nl >> checked by Bitdefender >> >> >> >> >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "danielferres" <danielferres@...> >> To: <[hidden email]> >> Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2008 12:19 AM >> Subject: [eSens] Question for Charles - about Spectran NF-5030 meter >> >> >> > >> > I have some questions (maybe specially for Charles) regarding the >> > Spectran NF-5030 meter that I would like to purchase. >> > Please, could you help me? >> > >> > Can you use the Profi Spion probes (Isotropic Field probe /lightsmog >> > probe) with the NF-5030 spectran and other HF spectrans? >> > >> > Do you know if the NF-5030 performs earth magnetic field measurings >> > according with the SBM-2003/SBM-2008 standard? >> > >> > Thanks and best regards, >> > Daniel >> > >> > >> > ------------------------------------ >> > >> > Yahoo!
