Hi, all. Thanks so much for all your input on the mycotoxin-contaminated fridge. I
suppose I’ll leave it on, since it’s a “closed system.” BTW, for those of you who suggested it, please know that bleach does nothing but whiten mold spores that are already dead, & does nothing for the live spores or mold byproducts. My NEW QUESTIONS relate to using ALCOHOL to remediate mold. This is not the 1st time I’ve heard about this. My questions are: *Is alcohol known to digest not only the mold spores, but also the mold byproducts? (mycotoxins, VOCs etc.) *Is vodka ok to use for mycotoxicosis remediation? (I don’t want to use a gluten-containing alcohol) *Would it be effective to put alcohol in with my laundry, for my mycotoxin-contaminated clothes? *If so, how much alcohol should I put in my laundry (per load) for it to be effective? *Would putting alcohol in a spray bottle help, if I wanted to spray it in a friend’s car (which I contaminated slightly & now get a raging stomach-and-lung ache from?) Thank you all so much for your input; it’s nice not alone in this J Love & blessings, Elysia [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
I've never heard of alcohol for mold elimination. Vinegar, hydrogen
peroxide, borax, tea tree oil are what I've been told/used at various times. I'm pretty brain dead at the moment, and don't have the wherewithal to get specifics. I also don't know if mycotoxin is different from other molds that respond to the above mentioned substances, and therefore wouldn't be affected by them. I think this is to kill , and clean by wiping away
but dont think it dissolves the mycotoxin. Have also heard of the boraxo. being useful. just am listening to this webinar on SNP's for methylation and increasing health when some people have trouble with environmental toxins. the Dr is commenting about testing that people have done. Would be nice if we could just eat good foods and heal, guess our mind and emotions and souls needs good foods also. https://www.freeconferencecallhd.com/playback/?n=3248-59-7311424-17-65-67-17-65-6713-17-65-67-17-65-6790-17-65-67369544;1NjQ2ODAxMDc=1 www.NancyMullandMD.com she has a picture of the cycles that body uses for energy and... Lynn D I rt clicked on your first quest. to put in web search and this is 1 web page got - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinfectant - Alcohol is, at best, only partly effective against most non-enveloped viruses (such as hepatitis A), and is not effective against fungal and bacterial spores.[9][11] --- In [hidden email], Esther LeSieur <gomma@...> wrote: > > I've never heard of alcohol for mold elimination. Here's a website specifically for mold problems:
http://www.survivingmold.com/ If you use vodka, make sure it is still potato based if you are sensitive to gluten, because many are now made from grain... don't how they are still called vodka then. ~ Snoshoe |
