Anyone try this suppliment for brain function???? Dr Bob takes this & heard lots of good things about it. Was thinking maybe it could help with EHS. Maybe help to repair the blood brain barrier. I think I'll try it. Loni www.prevagen.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
I am of the opinion that only natural substances will ultimately help
and cause fewer problems. I believe the brain fog is caused a number of different contributing factors; sugar imbalance causing hormone issues, heavy metal especially aluminum toxicity, lack of Omega 3 and other good fats, blood brain permeability, etc. I don't know what Apoaequorin is and how the body will process it. Is it a pharma product? There are many brain factors that should be tested, balanced first as well as liver, kidney, pancreas, thyroid issues that will naturally correct the brain issues. The brain problem may be the side effect of other systems failing so addressing the organs first may be a much quicker way to living with less pain. I won't give recommendation for supplements because everyone is different. I am working with an herbalist/acupuncturist that also has me doing a number of blood and stool tests. There is plenty to fix before throwing one more thing into the mix the body has to process. I am desperate too and have tried pretty much anything that could possibly help. I have paid a price for it. Seek out the best health professional you can find to help you run some tests so exactly what is going on. All my best to anyone's success. Hi Andrew;
Yes well avoiding exposure for me has been the best way to heal along with good foods but seems to be an impossibility for that.. the protein is derived from jelly fish. Dr Bob that has a syndicated radio show on every weekend. I've listened to him for 15 years now. He takes the suppliment & so does his family. So I guess it's worth a shot. I am, however, tired of trying all kinds of suppliments that don't do anything when all I need is some clean fresh air! It is made from jellyfish... a protein in the jelly is comparable to a brain chemical in humans. Google the story of Mark Underwood, who tells how a Japanese chemist was looking for something for alzheimer's that a relative had, and learned that someone being stung by a jellyfish developed alzheimer's-like symptoms. Working backward he found that the jelly corrected the calcium levels in the brain to what they should be normally. And the alzheimer's symptoms reversed when calcium levels were balanced. Good stuff. Expensive, costs about a dollar a day. But you won't forget where you put your wallet. |
Thanks Marji! Does it diminish EHS at all? Loni
