Portland schools have had to spend $172,000 fighting a parent's lawsuit over Wi-Fi.
One year ago, the parent of a Portland Public Schools
student sued the district with claims a new Wi-Fi network in his
daughter’s middle school was poisoning her and potentially harming other
 students.

Kathy,

Thanks for posting this article.  I really feel sorry that the parents have to put up with having the opposing attorney's ridiculing them.

Quote:
The school district’s attorney, Bruce Campbell, argued in court filings that Morrison’s experts present “fringe views outside the mainstream of science by witnesses who are not qualified to offer their opinions.”

I hope Bruce Campbell and the attorneys representing the school get sick or get cancer from using wireless as long as they think they are so dam smart.  Too bad we all know the real TRUTH and we know they are only out for the money and will say anything to discredit the opposing side in order to win.

If the school is so worried about the money, blame it on the over-priced attorneys not the Morrison's.  Or better yet, accomodate those who are affected by the Wi-Fi instead of forcing it on them against their will.

Superdove,

You're welcome. Yes, I feel sorry for the parents too. But, someone had to sue to get the truth out. I pray they will win. Does anyone know when the decision will be made?

It could change the future for public schools & save the futures of children. I don't think all the staff want wi-fi. Many teachers have & will get cancer. I bet some teachers get degrees of  ES.
