Portable Projector Analysis

Been testing a Mitzubishi PK10 pocket
projector to see how promising it
is for an electrosensitive sufferer. The
answer is unequivically to stay clear of this
projector. The instant it's turned on the
entire room lights up into an electomagnetic
smog.

I'll be sticking with my Samsung LCD monitor
with remote power supply. It produces incredibly
low levels of RF and ELF pollution.

Hey, great photos of your computer!

Is there any RF detectable at the keyboard or mouse? I'm not sure what
frequencies
I need to worry about, but with computers I tend to suspect it's the RF
causing me problems.

Also, anything from the cables to the monitor?

Are you contemplating selling stuff you modify?

Thanks, it's the result of several years of work.

Thanks for asking, I should put the results on the web site.

There's no detectable change in the ambient RF or magnetic field in the
room, which stays constant at (0.005 uw/cm2) whether the computer is
on or off. Of course that ambient value varies from day to day.

Here are the measurements emitted from the various components
when directly touching them with the RF meter. The values are
higher when holding the meter in hand, so I'll provide those numbers.
Meaurements without holding the meter in hand
are in parentheses:

mouse: 0.014 (0.007) uw/cm2
KB: 0.014 (0.009) uw/cm2
Monitor cable: 0.014 (0.008) uw/cm2
Monitor Power cable: 0.011 (0.006) uw/cm2
Monitor: 0.014 (0.008) uw/cm2

Measurements with gauss meter (ambient is around 0.1 mili gauss):

mouse: 0.1 mlli gauss
KB: 0.1 mili gauss
Monitor cable: 1-2 mili gauss
Power cable: 1-2 mili gauss
Monitor: 0.1 mili gauss

It depends on the individual. The RF I'm measuring
is mostly less than 100 megaHz. The gauss meter is picking up
somewhere around 60 kHz, I believe.

I get different symptoms depending on the frequency and strength.
Lower frequencies (even 60 Hz) above a few mili gauss causes severe
chest pains. RF seems to cause the tinnitus, tingling and general ill
feeling.

Yes, I'm considering selling. Been holding off a bit trying
to perfect this thing, but it will never be perfect.
Also, I may have finally lined up someone to do the soldering,
because that's painful for me.
