Please explain: halogens and nonconductive mats

carazzz
Can anyone explain briefly, in simple, layperson's terms please:

1) Why halogen lights should be replaced? And what type of bulb/fixture is the best
replacement? (I know not fluorescent; incandescent then? with shielded wires?)
2) Why a nonconductive mat underfoot is helpful at the kitchen or bathroom sink? And, is any
rubber-lined mat suitable--something I could get at an ordinary bath/kitchen store--or do
certain types of mats work better than others?
3) Would a nonconductive mat in the shower reduce ES symptoms the same as at the sink?

Sorry if these questions are very basic. I am trying to understand (withoutgetting too
technical) some of the ES solutions recommended at http://www.electricalpollution.com.
Thanks.

I'm not an expert on halogen light bulbs, but I think they use AC-DC
transformers, which some ES people might have difficulties with.
Otherwise, the technology seems similar to incandescents.

I'd say that full-spectrum incandescents are the best choice overall...
but no dimmer switches, please... :-)

Thanks, Marc. Appreciate it. By the way, how goes your adventures in cod liver oil and the
like? Developments?

The cod liver oil does indeed cause an immediate and noticeable improvement
in my night vision (Vitamin A?), energy levels, and also my skin looks
moister and healthier. However, I also get terrible panic attacks and
a feeling that I cannot breathe, even with the tiniest daily dose. There
seems to also be a synergistic effect with the Springlife Polarizers -- that
is, once the panic attacks start, the Springlife Polarizers make it worse.

I've observed this with 2 brands of cod liver oil, both (supposedly) free
of contamination.

This is, by the way, the same reaction I got to chia seeds years ago. The
common thread, I think, is omega-3 fatty acids. I suppose I may be
suffering from a huge deficiency, and my body can only initially handle
the tiniest amount. I'll experiment further, but no longer on a daily
basis. Perhaps once or twice a week might be tolerable.

I think my reaction to the Krill oil isn't quite so extreme, but
is still similar. The Krill oil seems to be the best in terms
of improving ES symptoms, although really I'm focused on adverse
reactions so far.

I stopped the DHA from algae because of extreme red blotchiness on
my face.

The Super-EFF seems pretty benign in comparison to the above.

Meanwhile, on the choline/lecthin front, it took 4 days for my initial
dose of GMO-free lecithin granules to stop giving me terrible headaches.
After a few more days, I tried a very small dose of pure Phosphadytalcholine,
which also gave me a headache, but only a very slight and brief one.
I'm still rather bothered about taking anything derived from soybeans,
as most of this stuff is from genetically engineered soybeans and
extracted using chemical solvents.

So in summary, more experimentation required... :-)
