Get a cheap crappy radio and check out the AM frequencies. They one that gives the least noise is the least bad. Then get a meter for electric and magnetic fields from eBay for a £10 and if they give a live electric field which they probably will chuck the whole lot in the bin and ask WHY in breach of EU Law they were allowed into the country?  Do you really want to bodies of growing children exposed to illegal shite like these.  Electrocution is a great sedative drug.  An opium for the people.  My mum is a Professor of computer addiction.  Better to read books.

You did  get a live field with an EM meter so the device is not earthed correctly and is illegal and should be binned.   I think it foolish not to point this out as it is the worst thing any one can do is become the earth route from a 220/120 volt apparatus.  You should get an electrician to check your wiring generally because something is very wrong.

  My Gigahertze is no where near as sensitive as a radio or me.
