PLEASE READ - "eSens" is moving...

Hi all,

With the recent changes from Yahoo, I think YahooGroups has become more trouble than it's worth.  So I'm going to close down "eSens" -- at least on YahooGroups.

The group is moving to:

  http://es-forum.com

This is the Nabble.com archive that I set up 3 years ago.  So it already has all of the discussions from the past 9 years.

If you just want to lurk/browse messages, then all you need to do is visit es-forum.com, as it is visible to the public.  If you want to post messages, you will need to "Register" with a name/username, email address, and password.  I've also chipped in some money to Nabble so that registered users don't have to see advertising mixed with the messages.

If you prefer to send/receive messages via email, there is an option for that: "Options -> Subscribe via email".  They offer individual emails and digests, and you can reply to messages via email.

As for files/photos, Nabble does support embedded images and file attachments.

And if you choose not to move with the group, then thanks for participating while it was on Yahoo!

Testing... hopefully we can survive the move from Yahoo Groups (although we may not have survived if we stayed).  

This forum operates a bit differently than the Yahoo Group, but the nice thing is that you do NOT need to have a Yahoo account, a Google account, a Facebook account, or a cellphone number to participate.  And one can turn off the ads (for a price)

Hi Marc,  I registered (for the email type) and got an emailed confirmation saying that I was registered, but could not find a choice for receiving posts in digest form.  How can I do that?     Ellen (from Yahoo list)

This should work:

 1) go to http://es-forum.com

 2) if you have already registered, then go the upper right corner, where is
    says "Login". Enter your email address and password, and click the
    Login button.

 3) In between the group description and the posts, you should see a link
     to "Options". Click on the dropdown arrow to the right of this.

 4) Select "Subscribe via email".  This will bring you to a page that has
     a few options, including the digest option.  Select your option of
     choice, and then "Save Subscription".

From what I can see right now, I like this set up better than Yahoo anyway. :)

My highly ignorant spam catcher is turned off. I see everything in
MailWasher and program it myself and check everything first. Anyway -
email it was just delayed, now let's see if I can reply from email.

I only got 4 emails today, and did not get the copy of the one I sent by email, but I see it posted on the web and there are are more messages on 9/2 than 4. Testing again - send by email. Then I'll go to the forum and send one.
