As far as I know pagers designed for one-way paging service are
receivers only. Your boss could send you a page and then you could
head for the nearest land line and call back. Again, as far as I
know, one-way paging service is still available, at least in the US.

Or, what you could do, is offer this solution and buy lots of time:

Within industry, we use "anti-magentic" cover material, anti-shock. This protects digital
devices from emitting an "unseen" emf and toasting everone in the vicinity.

You can purchase electrical anti-shock equipment from petro-chemcial industry suppliers.
Sorry, I don't have those immediately available, but should you resource one, you can post
it here.

NOTHING gets through that stuff. You would be safe. And what you do with it? Well, you
can hear through it, so it might work to cover a mobile phone.

OR you could use a PDA, such as a palm pilot, or a blueberry and communication could be
established via ALERT email. These emails could be sent directly to your corporate network
address, received at host server, then forwarded to your remote location....where ever your
remote location would be....

And now, if you were asking some of those big executive types where there remote
location would be...hmmm...let me see...you might get, if you were in calgary, a Hooter
location, OR< OR< OR....they might be entertaining clients for a big deal sign down at the
our local French Maid. Business and breasts....nothing wipes out a pen quicker.

I was invited to those.

Take care...hope the solution helps. If it does....let us know...if not...let us know why. We
will work to resolve.
