OT - my messages not getting posted - possible reason?

Hi,

The other day, I posted a message to eSens - and I posted two more messagesthis evening. None of the messages have shown up on the group site (I didn't sign up for group emails, as I prefer to come to the group's homepage to read messages - so I have no idea whether my messages showed up in email format). I just discovered a possible reason why. Over the past several days, I've been in the process of changing Internet providers - and I registered a new Yahoo! email account in order to transfer old emails from my (now former) ISP email account to this new Yahoo! account. This new email/screename is "svetkristi", and when I've come here I've forgotten to sign out as "svetkristi" and sign in with the account that I registered to this group with - "svetaswan". I was wondering if this has made the difference in my messages not getting posted. Can anyone clarify for me whether this has been a problem?

It's interesting that I've seemingly been able to post messages as "svetkristi". That is not the name I registered to this group with, so I thought that this screename would be denied membership posting privileges. I'm confused - I can seemingly post as "svetkristi", but are these posts showing up? Are people seeing these posts? Do I need to re-post my messages using my original screename?

Yes, I think you can only successfully post a message to this group using
the email/yahoo account that is subscribed to the group.

O.k. - thanks for the quick clarification. I guess I'll re-post the messages I wrote tonight under this screename (it's a good thing I had them sort-of "saved" in a basic word-processor program).

I started to reply to this message under my "svetkristi" screename - caughtmyself - and had to log out and log back in as "svetaswan", lol. Hopefully this balancing-act will get a little easier as time goes on - I'll have to be vigilant that I'm using the "correct" screename.

Ahh - great idea, if this is allowed. :)

Maybe I would have thought of this idea myself if my brain weren't consumedby cumulative emfs, among other things.
