Nutritional problems and EMF

sctdh
I just caught the end of a radio show on emfs and nutrition, on KPFA
in berkeley, califorina, Layna Berman's show on Tuesday 1pm.
A guy was discussing how calcium metabolism problems, like
hypocalcimia, can throw off the electrical regulation of the cell
membrane and make people vulnerable to external emfs. A paper cited
was by Andrew Goldsmith: Biological effects of weak electromagnetic
fields.

I also just read Sherry Rogers, Detoxify or Die, and she talked about
the importance of silicon in calcium metabolism and the conductivity
of the bodies electricity. I tested her recommend product, BioSil by
Jarrow, but it was incompatible with me. The herbal source of silicon
would be horsetale.

Sorry i don't know more, i have just a few clues and am wondering if
anyone could direct me to quality info on this.

Paul

Re: Nutritional problems and EMF

That is very interesting. I don't know if this helps at all, but I know I was receiving some NAET treatments for my ES. NAET is a form of energy work for treatment of allergies, if anyone wants more information on it here is the website. www.naet.com
The treatment also tests to see if you are absorbing vitamins and minerals and when we got to calcium, I definately showed some difficulty in absorbing calcium. So your logic about calcium metabolism and ES makes sense to me. Unfortunately, I was unable to continue treatments because they were too expensive. So I can't vouch for this kind of treatment (whether it's successful for ES or not). But the calcium metabolism could be related, in my opinion.

NEAT

sctdh
I've done NEAT and other allergy treatments and i would say they
work very little. The idea of second guessing how our body should
react to things is sometimes wrong. I find it more worthwhile to
focus on nutrition, detoxification, emotional issues and energetic
practices like chi gong.
