Nuke Protect

What does anyone thinks of this? Potassium iodide/selenium blend?

Excerpt

Nuke protect™ also includes wild pacific kelp. This kelp is naturally rich in iodine, sea minerals and chlorides, all of which are very protective against radiation toxicity. These components work synergistically to supportnormal thyroid function. In addition, the kelp in Nuke Protect™ is free of heavy metal contaminants, which is a major problem with commercially harvested kelp.

Besides these potentially critical benefits, Nuke Protect™ includes wild rosemary, rhus coriaria (mountain berry), St. John's Wort and black seed. Wild rosemary and St. John's Wort are renowned for their high antioxidant levels while Rhus coriaria offers a rich array of strength-promoting and anti-toxic flavonoids including malic, tannic and gallic acids. Rhus coriaria also includes a naturally occurring Vitamin C. The final herb, black seed, is added for its ability to boost the immune system.

RE: Nuke Protect

It might be useful - as long as you don't believe the claims about major
protection against radioactive fallout!

The big question would be what is the actual level of all the ingredients
and how much is inert filler, which the blurb carefully omits to state. (As
with many High Street supplements which contain low doses compared to
concentrated extracts). Personally I'm always suspicious of any product
where the main marketing claim is clearly bogus, exaggerated or opportunist.

I am not sure about exaggeration, after Chernobyl, the Russian government did include clay in bars of chocolate to its population.  Clay binds with positive ions from radiation, why not from RF?  Basically, toxic and chemical injury starts of the same chain reaction according to many toxicologists.

I believe they were also given iodine, but I am not sure about that.

Any biochemist on board???
