Non-irritating soap?

Karl
I just found one that doesn't bother my skin, but it's apparently not made anymore. Does anyone have recommendations? Or do people know of ingredients that seem to help?

Thanks :)

Seems I do best with Dr. Alkaitis Organic products as they are food grade and gentle, but they are expensive.

I was using Mrs. Meyers Clean Day hand soap but found the chemicals are not that great so, I just found a whole body natural soap on amazon smile.... Nutribiotic Pure Coconut Oil Soap, Unscented, 128 Fluid Ounce >

It seems pricey, but it's a gallon which will last me a long time.  It's very thin so a foaming soap dispenser would be good to use.  I am tempted to add some organic vegetable glycerin and make it thicker and go farther.

I find it extremely gentle.

I also recently used Pear's glycerin soap and it did not cause a reaction or dryness (that I noticed).

Thanks a lot Ellie :)

That's interesting because both of the soaps you mention have coconut oil, and the brand I had good luck with has a coconut-based ingredient called sodium cocoate. It's the only unusual ingredient high on the list (the other being rose hip oil much farther down).

I'm not too worried about cost in this context, and the other was pretty expensive also.  So worth a try :)

About the only soap I can use on my body (and now my hair) is Yaley's Soapsations glycerin base bar... which I now see is no longer being manufactured, either.  Hmmm.....

I've found that this "Dead Sea" mineral soap was good for reducing the skin redness I get from EMF/RF.  I don't know if you'd be able to tolerate it, but it might be worth a try.

The reviews are really promising from the dead sea soap you mentioned, Marc.
I am going to try it when I need to buy soap again.  I think I'll try the mud mask and lotion as well. My dry skin needs help.  :)

Thanks!

Does it actually contain salt in the end product?  You so much as throw a handful of table salt at me and I start having convulsions - for some reason it's too much for my body to take on the outside.

Well, I would think that any legit "Dea Sea Mineral Soap" is going to have minerals in them that would include sodium.  However, natural "salt" from the sea isn't exactly the same thing as "table salt", as many in the health community consider "table salt" as poison, and "sea salt" as good for you.
