Maybe this is an odd question; I know there are shielded caps around to reflect RF from your head. I once asked someone about these, and they said they could work, but the problem can be if you've somehow got reflections coming from ground level, and they could sort of "bounce around" inside the hat and your head. Also, the fabric is usually conductive, so if your head is close to high electric fields, the material could attract them.
What about sewing non conductive RF absorber into a piece of headgear (I know some such material exists) - in that, it absorbs RF and turns in into heat?
Or is the effectiveness of such material based on a more solid application of it, like directly infront of a source of RF, or as a canopy?
Don't know if this is just a silly idea, or feasible - but if anyone has thoughts on it, please let me know.
R.
