Assuming that the Nervous system is the key system ( in my case I believe it is) that is the symptom producing mechanism of electrosensitivty, what would you do to help address and treat the nervous system to be less sensitive to the signals from cell phone towers, WiFi, etc? I never had a problemwith these things until a year ago. I assume something changed in my nervous system. I am trying to change it back. Any ideas?
Mark K. P.S. Some things that make me feel better include tilting my head down, touching my hand to my face, or even later at night I feel better too in general and I am less sensitive. |
In my opinion, based on what I've read and experienced, good for central nerve system...
Temporarily good: -no emf/emr -grounding (there are many ways for that) -meditation -doing and thinking at the same time -massage (explained in book Energy Field by Donna Eden) -walking -showering Good in the long run: -detox -enough minerals: Magnesium,... If it's caused by microwaves, the best protection is probably avoidance.
Some people who developed sensitivity and tried to live with wireless radiation, got much worse. Those who avoid it seem to get better & less sensitive. Below are some nutrition ideas, but no guarantees (I don't know of any cure yet). BTW, if you buy any vitamins, you might want to check consumerlab.com to make sure you're getting what you paid for (oftentimes you may not). Looking for natural alternatives (nutrition in food) might be safer. See the end of this article: http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2007/aug2007_report_cellphone_radiation_0\ 2.htm on some studies that were done on vitamin c/e/caffeic acid/melatonin. * Melatonin: By sleeping in a pitch dark room * Caffeic acid from white grapes, olives, cabbage, coffee, apples, radish, cauliflower, bok choy, and kale may help One key concept is from research by Lai/Singh: Antioxidants appear to protect rats against DNA breaks which may be related to microwave-induced free radical activity, e.g., via the Fenton reaction, which is catalyzed by iron. Hence, iron-rich tissues like neurons/myelin may be at risk. * Vitamins C/E/etc. may provide antioxidant support from food or multivitamin. * Green rooibos tea is reputed to have a lot of antioxidants and is helpful for insomnia. * Zinc (in pumpkin seeds) may maintain antioxidant levels & protect cell membranes * For neuropathy, it's reported that vitamins B6/B12 and folic acid may help. Lentils have folic acid. * For myelin protection, it's reported that vitamin D helps, and 10 minutes of strong sunlight can provide a lot of vitamin D. Omega 3 fatty acids may also help. * Some Parkinson's patients have excess iron, which may make them more vulnerable. Phytic acid is a natural iron chelator, found in many nuts. Another key concept is that microwaves can cause calcium efflux in brain/heart tissue (see Blackman or A.Frey) and affect neurotransmitter levels. * For calcium efflux effect caused by microwaves, Magnesium may help ?? since magnesium is needed for absorption of calcium. * For neurotransmitter levels, it might help to eat turkey which contains the serotonin precursor tryptophan + zinc (e.g., in pumpkin seeds) + vitamin C ?? Other random ideas: * Rosemary possibly? It's supposedly good for ionizing radiation... Other misc notes: * Try to avoid wearing metal which might create hot spots * Be wary if you have metal implants or mercury amalgam fillings, although replacing fillings can also cause exposure to mercury, if done improperly. --- In [hidden email], "markkuether" <markkuether@...> wrote: > > Assuming that the Nervous system is the key system ( in my case I believe it is) that is the symptom producing mechanism of electrosensitivty, what would you do to help address and treat the nervous system to be less sensitive to the signals from cell phone towers, WiFi, etc? Sorry, for calcium efflux, it's Carl Blackman. He worked for the EPA:
http://www.salzburg.gv.at/Proceedings_%2812%29_Blackman.pdf http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/112127444/abstract?CRETRY=1&SRETRY=0 The salzburg link also mentions Schwartz et al. (1990) for calcium activityin the heart. Allan Frey found out about heart arrhythmia in frogs: http://www.emrpolicy.org/files/GQ.pdf --- In [hidden email], "Marjij" <marjij@...> wrote: > > > > > Another key concept is that microwaves can cause calcium efflux in > > brain/heart tissue (see Blackman or A.Frey) and affect neurotransmitter > > levels. > > > > Please advise who are "Blackman" or "A. Regards central nerve system and grounding,
Recently I've discovered that it's very good for me to be on a river/sea...After taking a ferry for 30 minutes only my muscles are much less stiff and more flexible for the following 2 days or so... The water seems to have a big effect on lowering my body voltage (good for central nerve system). If I do other stuff with water (bath/shower) it's also good, but doesn't make that much difference... I really have to be on the water... I should start considering a boat to live in! I'm traveling in Thailand, still the only country next to Belgium where I'm"ok". I crossed the border to Cambodia, life is even less "civilized" there compared to Thailand, but I get sick there immediately, so got back to Thailand... They have 3G in Cambodia, probably that has something to do with it. Strangely I feel better in the centre of Bangkok where there must be much moreemf than in Cambodia... In some places in Thailand where there's not too much "modern life" it feels so much better! Like on the island Si Chang where I'm now, not touristic, only 5 hotels or so. They have 2G and wifi her, but for me it makes a hugedifference compared with most of the rest of the world... I feel it after a couple of minutes, the air is so much better here! At first you might think they have some huge Quantum/Qlink/Tachyon on the island here?! ;-) For me it feels a bit like a combination of thingies like that I must say, but without side effects! Yes, I forgot what nature feels like... I didn't feel that positive effect on another really nice island Ko Chang, probably because there is much more emf on Ko Chang (also more touristic)... Stephen. P.S. I've just found a very good text on grounding: http://www.listening-in.com/grndintr.html Grounding (The following unpublished material comes from a group of "inner teachers",channeled by Ellen Meredith, author of Listening In: Dialogues with the Wiser Self.Calling themselves "the Council", these teachers invite us to consider and define our spiritual practice in very personal terms. They are non-denominational in their affinities, and generally work to promote a grounded, balanced approach to spirituality through everyday activity and creative expression. For a definition of the "three selves" - Wiser Self, Talking Self, Earth Elemental Self - click here .) "The other evening a young woman physicist asked us: "Is there something weird going on in the world right now?" She had just spent a summer finishingup a scientific dissertation, while in her spare time exploring, with great fear and exhilaration, questions of spirituality, mysticism, and feminism. What had shocked her was that she kept experiencing amazing coincidences, kept meeting other scientists who confessed to such "secret" interests, and she felt that something was stirring that she couldn't quite name. "Something is stirring. It is a quickening of consciousness, not only in our physicist's personal life, but on a planetary level. It is causing seismic activity in the mental, spiritual, emotional, political and even physicalrealms. It is a wave of awakening, like the contractions of a womb giving birth. "This moving, shifting context is one which you will be inhabiting for quite some time to come. "How do you find grounding in such a world? Our physicist friend will not be able to find all her truth and grounding in her science. It is changing too rapidly, and she is impelled to question assumptions which others take as fact. And she won't be able to ground her whole being in a church or religion either. Churches may offer great solace and support at times, but theytoo are shifting and struggling to respond to the energetic changes radiating through your world. "She, like you, needs to learn to ground herself in her elemental self. In the earth, in the energy of the sun, in the resonance of spirit which formsher. This, while shaking with the times, is the ground-note of her being and will keep her steady as she tries to create a meaningful life. Grounding in the elemental self "Your body is a transformer of energy. You bring in magnetic energy from the earth, and you bring in electrical energy from the cosmos, and your body mixes and uses these two energies, generally within the areas of the solar plexus and heart. The lower part of the body is the entryway for a lot of the magnetic energy. That is what you might consider to be "earth grounding"energy. And the top of your head and back of the neck is the usual doorwayfor the electrical or "sky grounding" energy. "In you earth and sky meet and mingle. It is your nature to blend these twoas fuel for your life here on the planet. "You are undoubtedly familiar with electrical grounding energy and its properties, through your experience with sunshine. It is a warming, expansive kind of energy, which can make you feel open, contented, and encompassed or held. On the other hand, too much electrical energy coming in can make you feel lightheaded, disoriented, burned out ("fried"), or jumpy and irritable. Too much (or not enough) sky energy may make you crave sugar. "Earth energy is also something we are sure you know well. It is heavy and solid. It is slow, stately and reassuring. If you lie on the ground for a while, feeling the solidity of earth, the support of the ground beneath you,the heaviness of being a physical creature, that is magnetic energy. Too much of it can make you feel confused, lazy, logy, or sleepy. Too much (or not enough) earth energy may announce itself through cravings for salt. Balancing earth and sky energy "The art of grounding is the art of learning to balance earth and sky energy within your body. "When you find yourself feeling great turmoil, confusion, disconnection, stop what you are doing and take stock of what is happening to your energy. "If you have been doing a lot of mental work, for example, and are feeling unsettled, then it makes sense to re-ground yourself in the earth. Go for awalk, or hold a rock over your solar plexus (or wherever you feel a need for it). Play with your cat or dog, allowing her elemental energy to bring you back to solid ground. "If on the other hand, you have been busy with physical work, or sick and overly focussed in your body, then bringing in some sky energy can help. Listen to music, sit in the sunshine, let your thoughts take off and soar intothe realms of imagination for a time. "Each time you wish to undertake some spiritual exploration, it is important to ground yourself -- by which we mean make sure your electrical and magnetic energies are well balanced and mixed within you. Otherwise, you may find yourself mentally or physically knocked off balance. Meditators who do not take time to activate the flow of magnetic energy in their bodies will find their bodies signaling this fact with aches, pains, and over time, injury. Physical laborers, dancers, or healers who do not take time to cleanse and unify their sky energy, will find themselves unable to concentrate and more vulnerable to accidents. What needs attention? "The basic rule of thumb in grounding is to recognize how you are ungrounded. If you have been doing a lot of mental work (which is the most common cause of ungroundedness in your culture), then to do a grounding where you imagine the sun coming down, or where you open your chakras from the top doesnot make a lot of sense, because you are just bringing in more of the energy that is already unbalancing you. It is better in this case to do a grounding where you imagine that you are a plant sending roots down into the earth, or where you sit with something really earthy and let it ground you fora while. "When you have just spent hours playing with children, taking care of household tasks, doing "earthy" things, that is the time to sit and call in cosmic energy for a time, allowing yourself to be bathed in sunlight, letting yourself feel the pull of the moon, imagining that there are tendrils reaching out from you in all directions, connecting you with the stars and songs of the universe. "And if you have both earth and sky energy jangling around in you, but not mixing well, then get yourself into water, because water is a great conductor of energy and will help you to create a better mix. You can even put stones in your bath tub if you would like, either crystals or earth stones, tohelp accentuate the energy you feel you need. When your body is tensed from unexpressed emotions, and your mind is flying all over the map trying to find resolution, a water grounding is especially helpful: take a bath, cry, slowly drink a large glass of water, run until you work up a sweat, shower, water your garden, imagine yourself being dipped in a well and washed clean of your troubles. "It is important to pay attention to what you are aiming for when you work with energy! "If you have been zinging from too much electrical energy, don't get into abathtub full of quartz crystals, because they are going to zing you out further. Put earth stones in your bathtub to help ground you. So many of you,and we mean this especially about those of you in the New Age culture who are trying to open up to new/old spiritual practices, pick up all kinds of techniques from various traditions, without really understanding thoroughlywhat they are good for, and what context best supports them. And so we seea lot of people trying to do groundings that don't really ground them. Invent your own methods "We encourage you to invent your own methods of grounding. There are some among you who just love to iron: what a lovely grounding that can be! The weight and metal of the iron bring in magnetic energy, the electrical currentand heat bring in sky. And the symbolic effects of clearing out wrinkles help your mind to unfurl as well. But if you do not like to iron, then find other simple household tasks that mix energies. Sweeping is a good activityto bring in earth energy and move your air energy (spinning mind) into a more consoling rhythm. Scrubbing pots and pans is good grounding to release too much mental energy, the metal and water combining to bring in more earth. "You can work with the four elements (fire, air, earth, water) to ground yourself and find balance. If you are too hot and feeling logy, bringing in air (turn on a fan) and water (drink some) will help to balance you. This isjust common sense. If you are at your desk and feeling low energy, lighting a candle and gazing at it for a while can re-vitalize your energy. Do yousee why many spiritual rituals begin with a bath or cleansing (water), thesweeping of the floor and arrangement of furniture (earth), the lighting of candles (fire) and music or the lighting of incense (air)? "Integrate grounding rituals into your life, asking yourself if you need more sky or earth, and taking a few minutes to provide it. This is especiallyimportant for those of you who work at desks or computers all day. Take frequent breaks to bring in more earth -- stretch your muscles, walk, admire a potted plant, discuss practical details or sports with someone, bring your attention to your lower body, firmly planted on the chair, and let its weight and solidity filter into your awareness more fully, pulling you down out of your head. "We encourage you to be creative and intuitive in your groundings and in your balancing. Even if you have a job where you must practice decorum, you can have toys on your desk. You can have little steel balls that you roll around like worry beads, you can keep some decorative blocks that you move around and stack, you can get yourself a Rubrik cube puzzle -- there are manythings you can find that will offer you a temporary outlet for your energyand will ground you. Some other ideas for grounding: "Start keeping a list of activities you do that can ground and balance you.If you feel your life is out of balance, you can get yourself one of thosebalance scales and play with it for a time. Go back to being a three year old. They play and explore in a way that regularly balances their earth andsky energies. "If you are interested in art, you can gather elements from nature, perhapsstone and plant matter and other objects that appeal to you, and create mosaics, sculptures, mobiles. In the process of arranging the elements you are aligning your intuitive forces in a way that very effectively grounds you. "Stack poker chips into a high tower, then knock them over. Hit a tennis ball for ten minutes. Shake out dusty rugs and beat them. Rearrange your cupboards. Engage in a physical way with your environment, and let this activity bring you back into balance energetically, emotionally, symbolically. "It can save you a lot of money in therapy bills to address your energy needs repeatedly throughout your day! Many of your problems are a result of energy that has built up in you and is seeking release in unhealthy ways. Themore you bring play into your life, the more you bring in activities whichallow you to recognize your energy and work with it, both literally and symbolically, the more securely you will feel grounded in this life, no matter what turmoil is happening "out there" in the world." Nervous system ideas:
cod liver oil, good for DHA. immune system: if MS /demyelination plays a role, need to protect blood brain barrier and get rid of any infections/allergies that stimulate the immune system. drink good water, but not with meals... This is really off topic somewhat but I just HAD to mention it. It may be old
news but as I've not watched TV in weeks I'm not sure. I was reading in a magazine yesterday about the military using a new weapon (can;t remember the name of it) that emits milli waves at a target (ie people) which covers their entire body and heats up the fat and water molecules to a temperature of 56 degrees C. Apparently there are no lasting effects (yeh right) and the temporary pain it inflicts subsides as soon as the person steps outside the beam. Has anyone else heard about this? I thought it was a sick joke to begin with but the more I read the more I realised that this is actually true. Maybe I'm just naive but I find it hard to comprehend how something like this can exist, even though technically its no worse I suppose, than nerve gas or any other chemical weapons. I guess this just resonated more with me as I'm an ES sufferer andmy immediate thought was- OMG- that would absolutely just kill me dead in an instant. Well, removing the mercury that has accumulated within your nerves should improve your symptoms, although that is easier said than done! Try a small dose (<25mg) of Alpha Lipoic Acid and see if you have any reaction to it. Any reaction (good or bad) is probably indicative of mercury poisoning. I would not recommend trying the "standard" doses of ALA (100 - 600mg), because if you are severely poisoned, such a dose could cause you some semi-permanent damage from the liberated mercury (which may be safer where it is now than where it will end up in your body after that dose) Marc |

well basically, nothing new here. Of course, we focus too much on intellecutal work or cerebral activities weneed grounding, equally the way we project ourselves, being disconnected, being totally materialistic, treating everyone as if they are disposable, instant gratification etc... will lead to more isolation, loneliness, sadness, and alienation. No matter what, technology can't and will never replace meditation, Qi Gong, Tai chi etc. The processes of implementing those disciplines, are slow, and work at cellular level. This means, that by practicing those daily, itgradually strengthens our cells, rejuvenating them, whilst getting rid of the dead ones.f It also helps with neuroplasticity, brings blood pressure down, slows the heart rate and other health benefits. Pointless, to try any other way of grounding or trying to regain CNS healththrough high tech apparatus. It will work perhaps for a few hours. Kooky,
I think the text highlights something very important, namely the differencebetween "earth grounding" and "sky grounding" energy, And doing what's best to get you more into balance is related what grounding energy you do need You mention being disconnected and being materialistic Well, they're completely different: Being disconnected: lowers earth grounding energy Being materialistic: heightens earth grounding energy Qi Gong and Tai Chi exercises, I would think are exercises for earth and sky energy grounding equally. That would explain why they're probably good for everybody, no matter what you need (earth or sky). Spiritual music for instance is sky grounding energy and althus "not ideal"for somebody who needs more earth grounding energy Stephen. --- In [hidden email], "furstc0404" <furstc0404@...> wrote: > > > well basically, nothing new here. > > Of course, we focus too much on intellecutal work or cerebral activities we need grounding, equally the way we project ourselves, being disconnected, being totally materialistic, treating everyone as if they are disposable, instant gratification etc... will lead to more isolation, loneliness, sadness, and alienation. > > No matter what, technology can't and will never replace meditation, Qi Gong, Tai chi etc. The processes of implementing those disciplines, are slow, and work at cellular level. Yes, concept is very similar to the doshas in Ayurvedic medicine ... Whenever there is a disturbance in one dosha brought about by fear, and maladaptive behaviors repeated patterns of negative thoughts and behavior etc... inevitably affects us at cellular level manifesting itself in various disease process. Yes, for me personally, according to Ayurveda I need less vatta/air (one ofthe 3 dosha's) to be in balance, so less "ungrounding" activities/food...

If you have been doing a lot of mental work (which is the mostcommon cause of ungroundedness in your culture), then to do a grounding where you imagine the sun coming down, or where you open your chakras from the top does not make a lot of sense, because you are just bringing in more of the energy that is already unbalancing you. It is better in this case to do a grounding where you imagine that you are a plant sending roots down into the earth, or where you sit with something really earthy and let it ground you for a while. You can even put stones in your bath tub if you would like, either crystals or earth stones, to help accentuate the energy you feel you need. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > "It is important to pay attention to what you are aiming for whenyou work with energy! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > "If you have been zinging from too much electrical energy, don't get into a bathtub full of quartz crystals, because they are going to zing you out further. Hi,
Those pain weapons have been around a long time, and yes yikes, nonlethal my ***. The effects can be instantly lethal in some cases, a couple people did die in ?testing. Or- like with many things over an extended period of time, making it harderto prove, to the companies' benefit. I read two recently on that specifically. It was to be deployed in Afghanistan, and then just recently they decided not. Electronic warfare is the current and coming wave of the future. Here's links w/ all kinds of info. on electronic weapons, and those in the making, to bring you up to speed: http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/tag/less-lethal/ http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/category/lasers-and-ray-guns/ and http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/category/darpawatch/ Once you find an article you like, it usually has links to other related ones at the bottom of the page, and they just keep going. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], MJQ 7688 <mjq7688@...> wrote: > > This is really off topic somewhat but I just HAD to mention it.
