Need dental work

peterparkson
Hi

I have ES and chemical sensitivities and now i need to have some dental work done. Im always wary of having new unnatural materials inserted into my body. What would you recommend i use for material ? Should i go with composite plastic resin dental fillings ? Has anybody had bad experiences with this ? Do you think porcelain would be an alternative ?

I need a root canal too, could this procedure pose a long term threat to myhealth ? This tooth is way back in my mouth and i could just have it extracted i guess but maybe that would be a bit crazy.....If you have any experiences or opinions id like to hear them please

I'd recommend bringing your emf meters with you. Sometimes small dental
appliances put out big fields and can be moved if they need not be right
next
to your head.

Salt washing and salt tooth paste I think are better than detergent based
ones (sodium laurel sulfate). Leaving coral calcium in your mouth when
you go to bed can also help.

If you get resin epoxy try to get helioseal, not deltol, as the latter emits
more
BPA.

I think porcelain contains (or can contain) metal, so that would
probably be a bad idea for someone with ES. Composites are probably
better, although there are different composite materials, some which may
be good, and some not (depending on whatever you might react to).
Sometimes doctors will do materials compatibility testing, either with a
blood test or "muscle testing", but I can't vouch for either of them
being entirely accurate (although I have had both done in the past, and
didn't have any problems afterward).

Yes, some dentists are "anti-root canal", due to chronic low level
infections that may be left behind. Such dentists would probably pick
extraction as the healthier option.

I also have MCS and EMF sensitivities. About 10 years ago, I had a dental materials compatibility test. It is a blood test and costs about $250.
