Naltrexone, sugar, dairy

Minni
Referring to this long-long-ago post:
http://es-forum.com/Naltrexone-td1552731.html

To: Snoshoe, Stephen, Evie

Firstly, Snoshoe (long ago) posted re: Naltrexone.
I'm wondering how this compares to Marijuana insofar as helping people with AI conditions
I see absolutely zero testimonials by AI ill-people comparing MJ and LDN

Secondly, Stephen spoke about requiring milk, despite dairy intolerance.

Thirdly, Evie spoke about requiring sugar, and referred to jargon such as "potassium channels"

...and then someone else responded w/further jargon re: "sugar being an excitotoxin"

......my oh my - such a BAD RAP - you'd think sugar is the worst kind of EMF or chemical! In fact, the ayurvedic site, eattasteheal, stated that "Sweet-taste - builds tissue & calms nerves". I also once read Dr.Kristal, D.D.S. (metabolic typing) stating sugar is vilified more than warranted. You may not readily find these balancing informationals about sweets/sugar, because the fickle media has so vilified "sweetness" as either unhealthy or fattening, that I suspect the topic is as censored as the topics of zero-point-energy and MSC stem-cells.

So how about experimenting?
Why not forget the propaganda awhile, and instead, allow yourself a bit of "primitive simplicity"

Stephen & Evie & anyone, if y'all are willing to let go of sophisticated complexities for awhile,
AND want to get a handle on Possibly why milk & sweets make you feel good,
...then read the blog attached to my signature (Lysine4flu) since it offers some simple common sense.

P.S. please skip the parts re: Fit-PC2 & Pixel-Qi - in fact i own neither (yet) since i'm not even sure (yet) if they're chemical-free.
Electrostatically Yours,

Re: Naltrexone, sugar, dairy

Patricia
good book:  Sugar Blues by William Dufty.
it explains that sugar is a highly processed substance,
whereas the 'sweet-taste' in other cultures can be
from fruits, vegetables, flowers... but not from
white, crystalline sugar.  white sugar, white flour,
white salt... all are modern 'improvements' over
nature's whole food versions of the same.
a good approach to healthy eating is to eat as you
would if you were living in nature - or at least as if
you were living at the time of your ancestors.  the
modern obsession with refined foods began only in
the 1900s.  before that, there were few processed
foods.  read that book.  it provides a good history
of the stuff... and explains why sugar deserves a
bad rap... a very bad rap.
love, patricia

Re: Naltrexone, sugar, dairy

Patricia
new article by dr.mercola on sugar.
keep in mind that high-fructose corn syrup is in ALMOST EVERYTHING these days and could also be genetically modified.

Excessive Sugar and Lack of Preventive Measures Threaten World with Disastrous Levels of Heart Disease and Cancer
February 19, 2014
Excerpt...

Reeling in Your Fructose Consumption May Be the Most Important Lifestyle Change You Can Make

Dr. Johnson has written one of the best books on the market on the health dangers of fructose, called The Sugar Fix, which explains how fructose causes high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and kidney disease. It's also safe to say that many cancers are also on the list of diseases that are directly linked to excessive fructose consumption. For example, fructose has been found to promote metastasis in breast cancer,14 and shows genotoxic effects on the colon in animal research.15

Fructose also promotes a condition called intracranial atherosclerosis16 — a narrowing and hardening of the arteries in your skull—and contrary to popular belief, it is the sugar/fructose in your diet that increases your risk for heart disease, NOT saturated animal fats.

At the basic dietary level, the prevention strategies for heart disease and cancer are identical. First and foremost, you need to address your insulin and leptin resistance, which is the result of eating a diet too high in sugars and grains. To safely and effectively reverse insulin and leptin resistance, thereby significantly reducing your risk of cancer, heart disease, and other chronic diseases—the most obvious of which is diabetes—you need to:

        1) Avoid processed sugar/fructose, grains, and processed foods
        2) Eat a healthful diet of whole foods, ideally organic, and replace the grain carbs with:
                • Large amounts of vegetables
                • Low-to-moderate amount of high-quality protein (think organically raised, pastured animals)
                • As much high-quality healthful fat as you want (saturated and monounsaturated from animal and tropical oil sources). Most people actually need upwards of 50-85 percent fats in their diet for optimal health—a far cry from the 10 percent currently recommended.
