My Letter to the Editor - Keep cell towers out of residential neighborhoods

KarenEck

Whaddaya think? Be honest. I already sent it, but if they don't print it (didn't last time) I can edit and try again.
Maybe I'll put lots of copies up on bulletin boards.

Karen, WiFrying in small town America.

Pssst … I’ve got news for many of you … your wireless cell phone, gadgets, and WiFi are NOT your BFF (Best Friends Forever.) This growing field of electrosmog is a backstabbing destroyer of health and known serial killer.

5% are seriously ill from modern technology and know why.  30% think it’s “just getting older”.  Dr. Magda Havas, of Environmental & Resource Studies at Trent University, calls this new plague “rapid aging syndrome.” Do you have insomnia, headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, depression, anxiety, fatigue, muscle spasms, numbness, muscle/joint paint, seizures, paralysis, stroke, palpitations, abnormal blood pressure, slow or fast heart rate, bronchitis, asthma, rashes, itching, burning, facial flushing, vision problems, extreme thirst, night sweats, intestinal disturbances?

All are symptoms of radio wave sickness. Wondering why so many now have cancer? In part, you can blame wireless electrosmog. Did you know people in their 30s are getting Alzheimer’s? Expert Barrie Trower worries that wireless devices on pregnant bellies could result in sterile children.

I live at 8th & Campbell and am ill from electropollution. To the south I’m assaulted every second of every day by the neighbors’ WiFi. Then .34 miles north at Baker High School is a T-Mobile tower. Within 3 miles are 9 cell towers/56 antenna (e.g. cab company, ag businesses, grocery stores, utilities, City of Baker:  <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://">http:// http://www.antennasearch.com. And NOW Verizon proposes TWO  towers: one a mile east; the other towering over our house just 3 blocks to the west.

WAIT, what – a cell tower at the high school?!?! Our youth blasted by pulsed microwaves all day? AND why is every school child engulfed in industrial strength WiFi when wired is much safer, more secure and faster? Parents do you care? Do your children feel better on weekends? Sure, our government claims these wireless levels are safe, but they are bought by Big Telcom/use outdated science while thousands of scientific papers prove all life – birds, bees, forests, crops – are sickened/slowly microwaved to death.

Please help keep cell towers away from residential areas. This could be the fight of your life, for your life. Email me: [hidden email].

(Exactly 350 words, if possible, please don’t edit, and if you could add in, PS: I agree with Whit Deschner – the towers are ugly monstrosities that spoil the view, plus they decrease property values.)

RE: My Letter to the Editor - Keep cell towers out of residential neighborhoods

Fog Top
Great job, Karen!  You laid it all out there so the EMF uneducated can understand.  Here our letters to the editor are limited to 250 words or less.  It's hard to fit in important points with such limited space.  Several of us here have tried writing regarding the negative effects of smart meters in such limited space only to have the newspaper allow a "guest editor" (corporate shill) to responsd with no word limit telling tales of the benefits of invasive radiating smart meters .

Wonderful!  If you send it enough it will get printed. People are starting to become more aware about living near cell towers and that is why it kills property values. So the more awareness the better.
