Subject: Please take 1 minute to sign this smart meter petition. It will really help a lot!

Hi, this is a Move-On petition, and if they get a lot of signatures quickly, they will share the petition with their entire membership nationwide.  This would be a HUGE breakthrough.  So please sign it (takes just a minute), & then forward this email to everyone you know, in every state (since this is a nationwide disaster), asking them to do the same.  Keeping the older analog meters available FOR NO EXTRA COST is essential to protecting health and privacy.  If there is an ongoing charge to keep the older meters, many people won't want to do it...and the radiation emitted by your neighbors' meters will increase the exposure of YOUR FAMILY & YOUR PETS.  That's why it's so important that they be allowed at no cost (just as we've never had to pay an additional cost just to have a regular meter all these years).
The petition is at

http://signon.org/sign/no-cost-analog-meters?source=s.em.cp&r_by=1851628

Its text says:

Subject: No Cost Analog Meters

Smart meters are being rolled out despite being a class 2b carcinogen, causing heart arrhythmia, head ache, other health problems and invasion of privacy.  Private military organizations and utilities were awarded 3.4 billion to implement smart meters and smart grid against peoples wishes and behind the false premise of "green".  We should be able to choose if we want our privacy invaded and if we want to expose ourselves to carcinogens. This invades our Constitutional rights to privacy, liberty and life.  NO MORE CANCER, NO MORE TRAMPLING ON OUR CONSITUTION!

That's why I signed a petition to The California State House, The California State Senate, Governor Jerry Brown, The United States House of Representatives, The United States Senate and President Barack Obama, which says:

" People should not be charged a penny to retain their health and privacy.  Smart meters/smart grid is an assault on the health of Americans and an invasion of our privacy.  People should be informed about the risks of having a smart meter and not charged a penny to retain their health and privacy. That is extortion and should be punishable be jail instead of funded by our government!  PUC's and legislators across the country need to back our rights to heath, life and privacy!  Corporations should not be able to profit at the expense of public health or by trampling on our Constitutional rights!"

Thanks!

If you want to take an extra minute or two, you can add a comment when you sign.  You can read what others have written.

We need NO-COST ANALOG electric, gas & water meters!

Remember, folks, there are two steps: first sign yourself, and then forward this email to everyone you can think of.  Many thanks.
