I called this company up in 2001, and they admitted that ES folks probably would not be able to tolerate their monitors due to the florescent backlight. However, that phone call was still significant, because it was the first time that I had ever heard the term "electrical sensitivity", which gave me something to search for on the Internet... Marc |
well that saved me a few pounds...
Thanks, it was just a thought. Alison --- Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: > > Has anyone thought of trying a 'zero radiation' > monitor? well i finally broke down and went to doctor not done with all the test
yet but have found very high blood pressure 170/110 so they put me on a betablocker and gave me another pill for itchy crawly skin. Both of the pills seem to be working so maybe my sensitivity is just something else not just EMF. The pills work almost all day but right about 2-3 hours or so before bed the symptoms comes back but feel the pills are just waring off then. He is still doing test to check more things but so far the high blood pressure, sensitive skin/dry skin is all he has found that might be giving me the symptoms i was experiencing. I have someone coming out to check my outlets today so if anything is wrong they will tell me. I know there is high energy coming from computers, microwaves etc so will treat them also when i can. Will tell you how things go but finding some of the symptoms are coming from other sources. Seshmet |

Are the pills you are being given supposed to cure the root cause, or merely suppress the symptoms? If it is the latter, then I'd still be looking for potential causes... Marc |

Hi there
Im not sure if this helps but it may.... your situation is different to mine but you may read something of interest. I was put on Beta blockers 10 years ago for supposed 'panic attacks'. i have since found out i was having an allergic reaction to food (MSG) and this is what was causing the racing heart and fainting etc. I was so so young and I feel very strongly these pills have caused many problems...10 whole years I took these drugs and they were masking symptoms... and all I needed to do was alter my diet. I stopped taking them 2 years ago. I am not saying that the doctor is not right in your case (I am not a doctor), I certainly didnt have this high blood pressure and I also know when you feel unwell you will take any option to put things right. All I am saying is that it is definitely worth looking at food and other chemicals generally, even if you do this alongside any medication fornow and then start to feel better in those 2-3 hours at the end of the day. Sometimes you have to put your trust in doctors and it sounds like you needto right now but from someone who has been on these meds, try and find the cause, do notmask symptoms long term.. there has to be a reason your blood pressure is so high. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon. i don't understand putting trust in doctors when they are all about
medicating to me that's not problem solving. You can check out systemic enyzmes for blood pressure. They thin blood and enlarge passages so your heart doesn't have to force think blood thru narrow openings. They enlarge capillaries and veins by removing fibrin/scare tissue. They do so many things they are worth taking many ailments. See Vitalzym or www.enzymestuff.com. There is also a yahoo group and enzymes and autism. Good luck.
