I think ANY neurotoxin can count as increasing EHS...
People with chronic lyme, babesiosis, bartonelosis etc have high inflammation, and when they treat their disease, their bodies get even more toxic. Nerves get inflammation, detox organs get blocked.
if you suffer from chronic candida, it's the same as lyme (but decay is slower).
Chronic infections (low grade or not) are a great contributor to EHS, as most people develop EHS during chronic lyme (that is how I discovered I had that, as my symptoms looked like theirs).
I remember about 13 years ago someone saying that she got crazy in big malls or at Wallmart, or somewhere similar. She said she would almost faint, from dizziness.
Then immediately many people said: "Wow, me too!!! I didn't know it was a symptom from lyme"
Well, in fact, it can be lyme, it can be mold, it can be heavy metal, it can be ES... or all together, in my opinion.
That was when I first heard about ES and realized I was starting to develop similar symptoms due to prolonged lyme disease.
The moment I loaded myself with binders, ES and lyme symptoms went down, and life felt almost like normal, at certain moments.
Toxicity from any source (heavy metals, amalgams, pesticides, drugs, mold spores, etc) =>
high inflammation = >
=>body in fight and flight mode (cytokine cascade) = >
= > feels like hell + extreme sensitivity (heightened symptoms, heightened infections, more inflammation, more fight and flight / anxiety, no body system works well (digestion slow down, excretion too, sleeping get affected, hormones get affected ...)
