Hi all,

In doing some "home improvements" before moving into our
new house, I discovered something that I was unaware of before,
although I don't know if this would be good/bad/indifferent
for ES sufferers. Modern windows are, for the most part,
given a "Low E" treatment which is supposed to block UV
from getting into the house, and infrared from escaping
(to make them more energy efficient). This is done by
splattering metal (silver oxide?) onto the window glass!

Now, I wonder if this has any effect in blocking or
attracting outside EMF, or reflecting interior EMF?
I'm thinking that perhaps I should just get plain
glass... if one can still buy such an old-fashioned thing? :-)

Hello Marc,

congratulations.
Such glass is very good in shielding the RF radiation.
The radiation is transformed into heat and a grounding is not neccessary.

Yes, but I wonder about the healthiness of blocking
the sun's infra-red and UV light into your house.
There are those who maintain that both are essential
to good health, and recommend you get 15 minutes
of sunshine a day. Meanwhile, I have cats who
*never* go outside, so they don't get *any*
direct sunshine. If they also live in a house where
the windows are blocking out health-giving UV and
infra-red frequencies, then their health will suffer.
And in fact, our current house *has* these windows,
and our cats *are* unhealthy.
