Hi everyone
Ive started to make some progress in that I can now prety much live within our house as long as we dont use too many appliances so thank you for all your tips. I wanted to know how many people here get issues from mobile phones and wi-fi? If I go out of the house and come across someone with a phone, I have terrible reactions, is this the same for everyone? do symptoms like this get any better over time? there are mobile phones literally everywhere so this stops me going out. I never want to use a phone again but I would like to be able to sit in a cafe or go out ocassionally. Does anyone out there believe I can get rid of this reaction to mobiles? Please send me some positive stories...I need them! Thanks, Alison |
Hi Alison,
I get reactions to those things too, Alison (in additon to other things). Some of the things which have helped me: (You don't mention having reactions to cell and microwave towers but I do) I have been helped in my car by putting heavy aluminum foil on my visor and putting the visor down when I see or feel a tower ahead (only works if there are not other towers behind or to the sides; the foil magnifies the problem if towers are behind). Calcium AEP has helped me some (I take it with pantethine but that is for another problem, so not sure you need pantethine for the calcium to help). Epsom salts baths have helped me overall, BUT oddly enough the cleaner I am, the more I seem to react!! I think the ions on my skin change and create a charge that attract the frequencies, but since I have no way to prove this, it is just a theory of my own. I have read someone here recently mention bathing helps them, but this is not my experience, tho it might be the epsom salts I use to detox my skin is the difference. Detoxing as a whole has helped me, as well as optimizing nutrition-- balancing omega oils, upping fish oil, balancing electrolytes, alkalizing my body (and the water I drink), correcting the numerous nutritional deficiencies that I had as a result of having undxed celiac disease for so long, and treating celiac disease itself. I also was helped by using an optical mouse that caused great ES discomfort at the time. I only used it a few days, but it seemed to make a difference in the rest of the items that were causing me discomfort afterwards! (Either that, or there was something else entirely going on in my body at the time; but I could find no other reason for the great improvement.) After using the mouse I reacted less to my computer, cell and microwave towers, cell phones that others use, etc. That was a year ago and I am still better but not as good as I was just after having used this appliance. (I returned the mouse to the store because it was causing symptoms before I realized that I was seeing other improvement, so I have not tried this yet again, but intend to in the future.) The only idea I have as to why this might have helped me is it seemed to be causing great detox at the time. I still react to cell phones (I cannot use one and someone else using one within about 12 feet from me will bother me a little, and more than a little if I am between them and a cell tower). Often my just moving a few feet will remedy the situation. Wifi still bothers me, but I and close family and friends do not have it, nor do my current neighbors. I can tell outside a cafe before entering if they have it, due to ES symptoms, so I know I do still react some (but not as much as before). There are new plans of homes which I cannot go near because they seem to all have it. (But I also react to security systems so that might be that problem.) We have been house hunting recently and I pretty much had to rule out the new home plans altogether. As for my computer, I can use it as much as I want most of the time now and before the mouse incident I could barely tolerate being near my computer. The cell and microwave towers bother me much less, but that changes from day to day with what I have eaten, how clean I am, etc, etc, etc. On the whole it is much better but I can have a bad day, especially if I have to go past a wi-max tower or alot of towers. Hope this helps some.
