You think your confused, I have been having some fun with my Microalert2
having placed this near my latop I was reminded that it will pick up efeilds or
whatever ? Later I placed it on the table and when I picked it up it started
to go off violently as my hand drew close. Now I work off a large wooden
table (waxed finish) I noticed that the transformer block for the laptop was on
the table switched on. To cut a long story short the microalert was going mad
whenever I put my hand on it, and I traced this to the transformer which was
1.5m away resting on the wooden table. The same happened for my wife, when
the transformer was unplugged the microalert stopped buzzing etc. It was
approx 10pm that night, in the morning I tried to recreate this but to no avail.
Is this the skin effect that Shivani details and were we experiencing a
stray current on the wiring that night ? - how could the current however small
find its way throughg my wooden table to set off the microalert also on the
table. Also the Microalert goes offf when all the electricity is switched off
at mains when you touch it on an earth lead from a mains socket in the house ?

Help I to am confused ? Are these microalert boxes as sensitive as our
cells at picking up minute current ?

You know, it can still potentially have benefits in reducing your
symptoms without registering any change in the meter.

But it was good for you to confirm that the quartz did NOT do
anything to the meter -- otherwise, everyone else would have
been confused! :-)
